9:20am: Good morning! Right now I'm having a protein shake for breakfast!
12:40pm: I have so much to write about, I'll start with my workout!
Weights:
Squats:
190x4x2 no increase
Lunges:
61.25x4x2 no increase
Glut-ham sit-up:
2 3lb weights
x8 x6 +6 lbs from 1/17
So since I only lost 1lb last week I thought I was going to be the same or worse, heavier! But once again, I was wrong! I weighed in at 202lbs today! That's 3lbs down from last Thursday. If all goes well, I can be under 200lbs next week. I can't express how badly I want to get past the 200lb threshold!
At 12:30 I had a big ol' post workout meal. I had 3.7oz of chicken breast, 9oz of steamed broccoli, and a vegetable/blueberry/whey smoothie. The contents of the smoothie were: 1.5oz raw kale, 1oz raw baby spinach, 1oz blueberries, 1 serving whey protein (I used Jay Robb's whey protein, I had a sample container lying around), 1 packet Stevia in The Raw, 4-6 ice cubes, and 6oz of water. Then you blend the hell out of it! It doesn't taste amazing, but it's interesting if you have a curious palate like I do.
3:50pm: Right now I'm eating 9oz of steamed green beans with 1/3 cup egg whites and 1 egg.
7:40pm: For dinner tonight I decided to make something that wasn't just simple. I made sauteed beef with salsa verde and sauteed kale. I remember watching something on tv and someone was eating food with salsa verde, and I just wanted it so bad. So I went a little out of my element and made it. Everything was soooo good! My beef portion was 5.8oz and I didn't weigh my kale. I'll do a write-up on the salsa verde in the near future.
