Day 89: Wednesday

Hey! So at around 8am I got a call from my boss asking me to help out with something at work. I grabbed a protein shake and head out the door. Right now it's 11:45am and I'm eating some leftover roasted broccoli and grilled chicken for lunch. My chicken portion was 2.6oz, I'm not really that hungry.




4:20pm: I got home from training not too long ago. I just ate 2 tbsp of chia seeds for fiber. FIIIIBER.

9:15am Thursday: I completely forgot to update last night! So for dinner I had shrimp with steamed bok choy and green beans. I took a picture of my shrimp portion but it didn't save I guess, it was 4.2oz.

Day 88: Tuesday

Hey! Sorry for the late update, it's 2:40pm right now.

For breakfast at 8:30am I had a protein shake for breakfast, and at 11:30am I had an ounce of almonds.

At 2:20pm I had some grilled chicken, a small piece of avocado, and some leftover collard greens from last night. My chicken portion was 4.3oz.


8pm: Right now I'm eating dinner! I grilled some chicken and made roasted broccoli with tomatoes and garlic. I also added 1 tbsp of olive oil too.

Day 87: Monday

Hey! At 8am I had a breakfast shake, and at around noon I had an ounce of almonds while I was at work.

4:15pm: Just got back from training! Take that, Hurricane Sandy! Right now I'm eating a 1/2 cup of cottage cheese with 1 tbsp of chia seeds.

Day 86: Sunday

9:25am: Good morning! Right now I'm having a protein shake before I go to work. Mmmmmm, I don't want to work. :(

3pm: At around 12:30 I had an ounce of almonds while I was at work. I'm going to get some cardio in at the gym in a few. 

4:40pm: I got home from the gym not too long ago. Right now I'm eating a 1/2 cup of cottage cheese with 1 tbsp of chia seeds in it. 

7:40pm: I just finished eating dinner. Tonight I made baked cod and okra. My cod portion was 4.3oz.

Day 85: Saturday

Well, it's 10:20pm right now haha. Sorry I didn't post!

At 11:30am I had a protein shake. At around 3:30pm I had a container of tabouleh after I left the grocery store, I had like no food at home. I ate all of it.

Around 4:45pm I got a coffee from this place in Cambridge. My friend CJ and I went to a new ramen place in Cambridge that SUCKED. No one there spoke english so I couldn't ask for my ramen without noodles, I didn't eat all of it. I tried to avoid as much of the noodles as I could. It had pork, napa, bean sprouts, garlic, and noodles in it.


Note to self: Never stray from Sapporo Ramen.

Day 84: Friday

Good afternoon! It's 1pm right now and I'm just finishing with lunch. I had a Lean Body shake at 8am for breakfast. At around 11am I had an ounce of almonds. I just finished eating my lunch, I took about 2oz of steak from last night and two eggs then made myself an omelette with leftover collard greens from last night.



9:10am Saturday: At around 6:30pm last night, Courtney and I had dinner at Chipotle. I got a chicken salad with peppers, onions, and tomato salsa.



and at around 11pm, Courtney and I went to Dunks and I got a vanilla chai.

Day 83: Thursday Weigh In

Good morning, it's 9:20am and I'm having a protein shake for breakfast.

12:10pm: Just got back from training! Man, that was an intense workout.

Weights:

Squats:

140x6x3 +2.5lbs from 10/18

Lunges:
70x6x2 no increase

Glute-ham bench:
12x2 thin red resistance band

So I thought I was going to be screwed with my weight loss for the week but I WAS WROOOOOONG!

240lbs? Hell yeah! Next stop, 230 range! 

1pm: I almost forgot about lunch! I almost considered going to Fuddrucker's to get a burger without a bun but I decided to have some raw spinach, leftover okra, and and a 1/2 cup of cottage cheese. I had already eaten 1/2 of the spinach by the time I took the picture of my plate.


8:30pm: I had a coffee from Dunks with 1 Splenda at around 3pm. I ate dinner around 8pm. I had steak and steamed collard greens. My steak portion was 3.5oz.

Day 82: Wednesday

Good morning! It's now 10:45am and at 10:30 I had my breakfast. I ate 2 eggs over hard, a 1/4 slice of avocado, and a bunch of raw spinach.


4:25pm: At 1:50pm I had lunch. I didn't really have any meat with my meal, like one piece of shrimp to be exact. I had leftover okra, green beans, and some broccoli.



I got home from training at around 4pm. I had 2tbsp of chia seeds by themselves. Didn't really taste too great but I need to incorporate more fiber into my diet, woo.

I served it with some steamed broccoli and a few sliced grape tomatoes. My chicken portion was 3.6oz.

Good morning! Right now it's 9:50am and I'm eating 2 eggs over hard with some raw spinach for breakfast.

  
7:21pm: At 1pm I had a protein shake for lunch. At 7:10 I started eating dinner. Tonight I had green beans and shrimp with okra. My shrimp portion was 4oz.

Day 80: Monday

Good morning! It's 9:05 right now and I'm having a shake for breakfast before I go to work.

1pm: Around noon I had an ounce of almonds. My appetite really isn't there today, still working on getting over this cold. 

1:55pm: Right now I'm having a cup of the leftover tomato and red pepper soup from the other day


4:30pm: I got home from training not too long ago. Right now I'm eating a 1/2 cup of cottage cheese with 1 tbsp chia seeds.

Day 79: Sunday

Good morning! It's 9:45 right now and I'm eating an egg over hard with a bunch of raw spinach. 


So in 20 minutes I'm going to head over to Courtney's house, we're going to the Patriots game today. Woohoo! I'm still feeling a little blah but I took some vitamin C and I'm layering up even though its supposed to be 65 out today.

8:20am Monday: Man, what a day! The game was so good! My phone died early in the day so I didn't really have a chance to take pictures of my food. I tried to take up on my meats as much as I could but someone brought buffalo chicken dip so I had to have a little of that. I also had some zucchini and summer squash. I ate at 1pm and again at 8pm. During the game I got a coffee because I was pretty tired, skim milk and 1.5 sweet n low.

Day 78: Saturday

Good morning. Today I still feel a little sick, time to break out the scarves!
Right now I'm having a Lean Body shake for breakfast before I go to work. Work...... 

1:55pm: So today for lunch I'm having soup. A month ago I got a premade tomato and roasted red pepper soup from Trader Joes, now I know I usually don't indulge in preserved foods with long shelf lives but I had had to make an exception today.


I put some basil from my backyard in there for flavor. I also grilled up 3.7 oz of chicken and put it in the soup. The soup serving was 1 cup.



10:30pm: I went out for ramen again tonight! I really felt like I needed soup but I didn't feel like cooking. I got the same thing I got last night, vegetarian.

Day 77: Friday

Good morning! Right now I'm eating two eggs over hard with raw spinach and some tomato. Definitely can't stomach all of this spinach right now, haha.


Time for work!

5pm: At 12:40pm I had 4.5oz of grilled chicken with a head of broccoli that I steamed.


At around 3pm I had a vanilla chai from Dunks, my throats feeling kind of blah so I wanted something hot.

10:30pm: So CJ and I went to this nice Japanese Ramen place in Cambridge called Sapporo Ramen. I got vegetarian ramen without noodles. It had cabbage, carrots, tofu, and bean sprouts. It was pretty good.

Day 76: Thursday Weigh In

8:25am: Good morning! Right now I'm having myself a Lean Body shake for breakfast. 

11:10am: Just got in from training, boy am I beat!

Weights:

Gute-ham bench:

Weigh in time! So today I weighed in at 243lbs, I thought I was going to be a little higher but I'm not complaining. To think, that in two weeks I might be in the 230's. This is all so unreal and I'm loving every second of it. -52lbs since 7/30, crazy!

I'm so hungry, I'm gonna go cook something! 

11:50am: Right now I'm eating lunch, I made a buffalo chicken salad. I used 1 tsp of buffalo sauce for the chicken.

Not bad, right?


 My chicken portion was 5.1oz.



5:50pm: At around 3pm I had a medium coffee from Dunks with 1 Splenda and skim. Just had a 1/2 cup of cottage cheese.

7:30pm: At 7pm I ate dinner. My mom made burgers tonight. I took the beef and crumbled it over raw spinach with tomatoes and onions. BURGER SALAD!
My beef portion was 4.7oz.

Day 75: Wednesday

Good morning. I'm so tiredddddd, blah. Right now it's 8:25am and I'm having a shake for breakfast before work.

11:30am: Right now I'm eating my lunch. I warmed up 3.7oz of chicken from last night with some okra from Monday night and threw in some avocado salsa from last night too.

6:40pm: After training at around 3:45pm, I had half a cup of cottage cheese with a tbsp of chia seeds.
