Day 49: Friday

Good morning! I woke up earlier than normal today because I want to get to work asap. It's iPhone day! I can't wait to pick mine up.
Right now I'm having a lean body shake for breakfast before I head out the door.  

12:10am Saturday: What a long day! So I got home from work at around 11:45am yesterday (technically.) I took a quick shower, got dressed, grabbed 1.5oz of raw almonds, and head out the door! I picked up Courtney then came home and ate some leftover broccoli from the other night that was in the fridge. After that I had to bring my car to the shop because I was having a problem with it but got it fixed quickly. Then Courtney and I went to the mall to get our iPhones, we got there at 3. It only took 10 minutes to activate mine but something was wrong with Courtney's wireless provider so we ended up being at the mall until around 6:30. 

We went back to my house and played with our phones for a bit, we walked my dog, and I grilled up some chicken then served it with raw spinach. My chicken portion weighed 4.4oz. 


After that I decided that I wanted to try to make a dessert-like food within the means of my diet. So Courtney and I went to Trader Joe's and picked up the following things:

Bananas
Chia seeds
Pumpkin puree
Unsweetened Almond milk



We got back to Courtney's house and went to work. Originally I found a recipe for this pumpkin 'parfait' but the way we made it was almost like it was a shake.

So we took half of a banana, 1/4 cup of pumpkin puree, 1 tbsp chia seeds, 1/4 tsp cinnamon, and 1/4 tsp pumpkin pie spice then tossed it in the blender. We added 1 cup almond milk gradually as it blended. Courtney topped hers with some graham crackers.


It was pretty good for something without added sugar.
