Good morning! Right now I'm eating 2 eggs over hard with some raw spinach for breakfast.
After I finish I'm going to go to work. I'll probably have a lean body shake for lunch.
2:30pm: I got home from work not too long ago. At around 12:30 I had a half portion shake for lunch. Right now I'm watching the Patriots crush the Titans while I try to figure out what I'm going to cook for dinner tonight.
3:15pm: My mom got me a greek salad from a church activity she was at and it came with a chicken kabob. I just took the chicken kabob because of the feta/dressing. I didn't weigh it though :(
8pm: I finished making dinner not too long ago. Tonight I decided to try making something different. I made 'southern style' (or atleast that's what I call it) green beans. Normally, I wouldn't be able to eat this plate the way it's usually made (salt, chicken broth, bacon, more salt) but what's wrong with a little experimenting within your limits?
I started off by why putting 1lb of green beans in water and boiling them for about 10 minutes, then I put them on the side. After that I took a tbsp of olive oil and put it in a pan to heat up. After it was heated up I put one slice of turkey bacon in there until it was crispy then removed the bacon and added 1 diced onion to the oil and let it cook for 3-4 minutes on med-high heat. While it was cooking I added 1/2 tsp garlic powder, 1/4 tsp black pepper, and 1/2 tbsp of crushed red pepper because I enjoy making myself suffer. I then crumbled up the turkey bacon then added the bacon and the green beans and let them cook covered for 10 minutes.
Now I just added how I made that because a few friends told me the food I make looks good and a few asked how to make it. So now everyone can make it! By the way it's pretty good. (Add a pinch of red pepper flakes if you're not a huge fan of having your mouth on fire.)
I also served it with 4.9oz of chicken breast.
Gooooooooodnight!
