8:55am: Good morning! Not really much to post about this morning. I'm currently drinking another Lean Body shake, chocolate this time.
For lunch today I'm eating left over beef macadamia with bok choy from last night. I'll update again later after I'm back from training!4:09pm: Just got back from training, it wasn't too bad. I deadlifted 135lbs which I realize isn't a lot but last Wednesday I could barely lift the bar without my hamstrings hurting a lot. Currently drinking my second shake of the day, I cut the portion in half because there was no way I was going to be able to down a full packet. I will also be weighing in on Fridays instead of Mondays from now on.
7:25pm: DINNER TIME! Right now I'm going to town on my dinner. I really wanted chicken tonight so I tried to figure out a nice dry rub to put on it before I grilled it and this is what I came up with:
1/4 tsp Chili Powder
1/4 tsp Paprika
1/4 tsp Garlic Salt
1/8 tsp Black Pepper
Pinch of Oregano
I really like it. It's pretty spicy, not in the hot spicy sense but.. like... lots of spices spicy.
So I took like a 3.7oz slice of chicken breast, got it all marinaded, and tossed it on the grill.
After I took it off I weighed it and this is what I got:
Kind of bummed out that it cooked down to 3oz but I knew it would've lost some weight. I'm trying to keep my meat portions between 3-5oz for my meals.
Anyways, I couldn't eat the chicken just by itself so I tossed some green pepper and half of a yellow onion on the skillet with a dash of kosher salt and just cooked it up really quick. Tossed everything together on a plate and there's my dinner!
Took me less than 20 minutes to cook and I'm pretty satisfied right now.
So yeah, that's my dinner. Good night!
Random snacks: 3 servings of veggie chips ( 1 serving = 13 chips = 110 calories ) Guacamole made with half a hass avacado, 1/4 slice of lime, tsp of salt, 4 cilantro stalks.
