Day 24: Monday

Good morning. Just getting ready for work, had myself a shake for breakfast.

1:40pm: I got home from work not too long ago, heated up a good amount of that leftover green cauliflower from last night and served it with a 1/4 slice of avocado.
I didn't really feel like making any meat, running low on chicken and I'm not going grocery shopping until tomorrow Wednesday.

4:26pm: Just got back from training. Shawn had a few notes that he took on my eating habits that I'm going to correct in the future.
1. Obviously the calamari I ate last Wednesday.
2. Marinades, even though all of it doesn't get absorbed into the food, some of it does which could increase sodium/sugar.
3. Prepackaged items with a shelf date over a week, because in order to stay good they have to contain preservatives.
4. No more Splenda with my cottage cheese. Just the presence of sweetness actually raises insulin levels, not just sugar.

Oh, and I'm drinking a half serving of a shake right now. Half vanilla, half strawberry. :D

Probably making collard greens with chicken for dinner, not 100% sure though.


7:57pm: I finished eating dinner not too long ago, I ate 5oz of grilled chicken breast with a 1/4 tsp of chili powder, 1/4 tsp of paprika, 1/8 tsp of cumin, and 1/8 tsp of black pepper. I ate it with some collard greens, 1/4 slice of avocado, and a 1/4 slice of lemon for the collard greens and some for the chicken.

Now I'm off to watch last night's Breaking Bad. Goodnight!
